SEO content writing β†’

People call SEO complicated, yet it can be refreshingly simple. Even as a beginner, you can bring in plenty of traffic with a simple strategy. Today I am sharing one. It revolves entirely around question content.

Choose your keywords with questions

Do you know Quora? A simple question-and-answer site, so popular that it ranks among the best-ranking websites worldwide. The secret? Quora answers exactly the questions people care about. Those are long-tail keywords, with several words and little competition. You rank more easily for a question like that than for a single word, because almost everyone has their eye on a single term.

How do you find those questions in your industry? Open the Keyword Magic Tool in Semrush or look at "People also ask" in Google itself. Then type in a term from your field. You get a list of popular questions with their search volume. Exactly those questions form your content plan. This type of direct answer is exactly what an AI Overview likes to pick up.

Give every question its own page

Turn every question into a unique page, as long as you have enough to say about it. Aim for around 400 words. If it flows naturally to 700 or 1,000, great. Keep it focused and only add what really helps the reader.

Keep your answers fresh

Update your answers as soon as something changes. Moving across the border 25 years ago came with different rules than today. Details like that go out of date. Think of the big, strong-ranking sites such as Wikipedia. They have one thing in common: they constantly refresh their content. Google simply prefers to show a current answer over an outdated piece.

Promote what you write

You can do this completely free. Share your new answer on social media, or link to it from a related page on your own site. That gives it an immediate boost.

Create question content for as many questions as possible

The last tip may sound less sexy, but it works. Five or ten questions are just a start. Fifty or a hundred is where you really see traffic climb. The more, the better, as long as every answer is excellent.

Because "how many hours are in a day" takes one line to answer. Everyone knows it and Google gives the answer instantly. A question like "what should you look out for when you move to Belgium" is a different story. That is one you can build a rich, experience-based answer around, covering work, buying a home, financing and even a word or two of Flemish. Questions like that win.
